頑張れば夢が叶う、というのは幻想だ。この幻想を僕らに植え付けているのは受験システムだ。頑張って勉強していい高校いい大学に入ればいい暮らしを手に入れられるという幻想にもとづいて、僕らは受験に駆り立てられる。このシステムにしたがえば、いちばんいい暮らしを手に入れられる、つまりこの幻想の頂点に立つのは官僚だ。

この幻想を僕らに植え付けたのは彼ら官僚ではないか。自分たちが排他的にいい暮らしを独占できるように。頑張れば夢が叶うという利権のピラミッドを僕らが信じ続ける限り、その頂点にいる官僚たちの独善的な保守性を否定することはできない。哀れな僕らはいつまでも頑張り続け、その成果はピラミッド上層に吸い取られていき、決して僕らに還元されることはない、のではないだろうか。
